Bruce Hiran is the founder of Bellaire Bail Bonds serving the Houston area in all aspects of bail bonding services including felonies, misdemeanors, municipal and Justice of the Peace bail bonds and warrants for arrest. Mr. Hiran is fully licensed as a bail bond surety agent in Harris County, Texas and has earned the Certified Bail Agent (CBA) certification from the Professional Bail Agents Association of the United States (PBUS).
As a Texas and the District of Columbia licensed attorney, Mr. Hiran is also a litigation partner in the Houston law firm of Monks, Monks, Monks & Hiran P.C. where his practice is concentrated primarily in business dispute, intellectual property, personal injury, and insurance litigation as well as criminal defense litigation. He also has served as a mediator for the Harris County Civil District Court. Throughout his career, Mr. Hiran has participated as trial counsel in cases involving a wide spectrum of civil and criminal litigation in the United States and Thailand. He has also served as a special prosecutor in Tom Green County, Texas.
Bruce Hiran earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Houston, College of Social Science where he was a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon Honor Society for Economists, Master of Arts degree in Economics from California State University at Los Angeles, Graduate School of Business where he was a member of the International Honor Society for Economics and also served as a Teaching Assistant for the Department of Economics and Statistics, and Juris Doctor degree from the University of California at San Francisco, Hastings College of Law where he was a research editor of the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review and a participant in the Snordgrass Moot Court and Advance Trial Advocacy Competition.
Bruce Hiran is licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas, United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, District of Columbia Court of Appeals, and Harris County Bail Board. He is a member of the Houston Asian American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Harris County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Houston Municipal and Justice Bar Association, American Bar Association, Harris County Bail Agents Association, and Professional Bail Agents Association of the United States. Mr. Hiran serves as the general counsel for the Thai Texas Association of Houston and as a former board member of the Houston Police Department Mayor’s Anti-Gang Task Force. He has volunteered his time as a mentor for the State Bar of Texas and a continuing legal education speaker for the Houston Asian American Bar Association.
